Department of Linguistics, University of Chicago

About me:

I'm a recent PhD graduate of the Department of Linguistics at the University of Chicago.  Broadly, my research interests encompass phonetics, phonology, and the linguistics of sign languages. In my dissertation research, I focused on various types of reduction processes as they occur across different parts of the lexicon of American Sign Language.

Before starting my graduate work, I received my BA at Swarthmore College, with a major in Linguistics and a minor in Music.
